Good Afternoon GEVSD Families,
First and foremost, I hope this message finds you healthy and well! Secondly, on behalf of the Granville Arts Boosters, we would like to congratulate all of our graduating seniors! Although their time at Granville High School came to a sudden and unfavorable end, their memories and accomplishments will not be forgotten!
While the announcements made last week were not specific to public education and/or fine arts programs, Governor DeWine is beginning to reopen our great state. Along with the school’s leadership team, we continue to monitor discussions at the local and state levels. This will allow us to be prepared to determine a course of action as we proceed.
Over the next month, teachers and the Arts Boosters will be pushing out information regarding the upcoming school year. Recruitment for programs will obviously look differently than in years past, so please keep your eyes and ears open. If anyone has questions about the Arts Boosters, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the officers.
Next Meeting and Officer Election – May 20th, 2020
We will be holding a Zoom meeting at 7pm on May 20th. If you would like an invite link to the meeting, please email us for login information. During that meeting, we will be taking nominations and electing officers for the upcoming school year. If you have interest in nominating someone for a leadership position, or if you are interested in a leadership position yourself, please reach out to me at your convenience.
