The cast, crew and pit of Into to Woods honored what would have been our show week by still wearing show shirts each day of tech week. This is a theatre tradition as we lead up to our opening night. We created a fan video to celebrate what we would have created for our spring musical. The Theatre Group held a cast party over zoom and viewed the video together, shared some memories and shed some tears. The event was followed by the tradition of a senior circle in a non-traditional way.
The drama club will gather again over zoom for an end of the year event and slide show. This will take the place of what is usually our Drama Awards night when we celebrate our year in the theatre together, induct new thespians and give other thespian awards, announce Oscar awards for the year, and honor our seniors. The group has also gathered several times to play theatre trivia to stay connected during this difficult time.
